Uche Anene-Nzelu is a consultant Pediatric Intensivist, a Fellow of the Medical College of Paediatrics (with honors), and a Member of the West African College of Physicians.
Dr. Uchechukwu Anene-Nzelu obtained her MBBS from the University of Nigeria and completed her residency training at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital. She then completed her Pediatric Intensive Care training at Birmingham Children’s Hospital, Birmingham UK following which she returned to Lagos, Nigeria to provide Critical Care services at Tristate Healthcare System.
Dr. Uche is a Mandela Washington Fellow, and also a Fellow of the Institute of Healthcare Improvement (IHI), finding joy in rethinking and helping to build sustainable systems and structures for the provision of safe and efficient patient-centered health services and training. She volunteers with “Chain of Hope” and “Ask the Paediatricians” to provide Intra and Intercontinental Critical Care transport; and primary Pediatric care and education respectively.
